Herb and Spice necklaces with Caroline Mak
Originally created in Europe during the Plague, necklaces crafted in herbs and spices were commonplace due to the belief they would ward off evil spirits. Luckily, in our current time, we can enjoy herb and spice necklaces for their pleasing aromas and their visual beauty instead of their ability to repel dark forces. Join artist Caroline Mak for a daylong hands on workshop in using herbs, spices, flour, essential oils, and gold leaf to construct your very own herb and spice necklaces. As an extra bonus, students can tailor their necklaces to be completely edible!
Fee includes materials.
