Joe Greene/SBE presents L.O.L Comedy Show Tour feat: PIERRE
FUNNYMAN on the weekends, writer by night and all around player, PIERRE is a comedian, actor and director born in Germany and raised in Washington, DC. For more than two decades, he has played the role of key comedic actor in the films: "How to be a Player",opposite Bill Bellamy (Last Comic Standing), "The Wash," featuring rapper Snoop Dogg, pro athlete Shaquille O'Neal and comedian George Wallace, "For Da Love of Money" starring himself and as Oscar award-winning actress Halle Berry's boyfriend in "B.A.P.S." In "2001: A Space Travesty," he co-starred alongside legendary comedic actor Leslie Nielsen as his partner.
Prior to launching his acting career Pierre built a successful career and amassed millions of fans performing as a [Stand-Up] Comedian before sold-out audiences throughout the United States, and before U.S. armed forces in Japan, South Africa, Germany, England and Amsterdam. He has performed before national audiences on HBO's Def Comedy Jam, BET's ComicView, Martin Lawrence 1st Amendment Stand Up and at major comedy venues such as the IMPROV and the world renown Caroline's on Broadway in New York City. He has also headlined concert tours for Mary J Blige, the late Aaliyah, Musiq Soulchild and many others and was the Host of Russell Simmons' One World Music Beat TV Show (1998).
In 2009, Pierre appeared on The Monique Show (BET Networks), where he debuted his new TV sketch comedy Skits O Frentic. He is currently touring with the stage play "Loving Him is Killing Me," with singers Angie Stone and the legendary Lenny Williams, Actor Leon "LEON" Robinson and Reality Star NeNe Leakes (Housewives of Atlanta).
As of 2010, "How to be A Player" and "For Da Love of Money" (written, directed and produced by Pierre) are still receiving rave reviews among urban audiences.
For more than 20 years, Pierre has been Hollywood's Best Kept Secretuntil now. He has written a new book "MY 100 HOMIES & PHONIES OF HOLLYWOOD," a hilarious recant of experiences and encounters with sought after Hollywood celebrities, paparazzi favorites and tabloid targets. Critics predict it to be a best seller in both urban and mainstream markets. Currently Pierre is on a media tour promoting his new book and has appeared on syndicated radio shows, including: Steve Harvey Morning Show, Rickey Smiley Show, Doug Banks and on the late night talk show, The Monique Show with Oscar winner Monique.
In July 2010, after a highly successful appearance on the Steve Harvey show, he was asked to guest co-host the show which airs in 64 markets and reportedly boasts more than 7 million listeners.
