Kanpai
Kanpai is a Japanese term which means "Cheers" and is often said before individuals enjoy a shot of Sake. This festive tradition inspires fun, friendships and good times.
Alameda Social Club decided to gather at Yellow Tail Bistro for and evening of music, Japanese cuisine, Sake and more.
Chef / Owner Gary Wong will lead the charge as he creates a custom Bento Box for each attendee, featuring 5 special menu creations that will display Gary's culinary skill and precision and show you why Yellow Tail is so revered here on the Island. To make the pairing complete, each bento box will come with an individual bottle of Sake.
As you dine on Chef Gary's creations your ears will be treated to the delightful sounds of performer, Danny Morris. Danny will be our live entertainment as he displays his melodic sound and musical range that have made him a favorite in the Bay Area and beyond.
An event called Kanpai would not be complete without adding a Sake element to the experience Ty Ku Sake will be here as our Sake sponsor. They will be the host of their own interactive Sake tasting bar allowing you to discover, taste and discuss this amazing beverage.
To round out the evening, we've invited some special guests that can make a big impact on your holiday shopping.
