SPCPA J-Term: Much Ado About Nothing
One of Shakespeare's funniest comedies, Much Ado about Nothing is a lively showdown between the sexes. Beatrice, independent and forthright, and Benedick, a self-confessed "woman-hater," pass the time constantly goading and scorning each other. When they are thrown together to defend a friend's honor, their true feelings begin to emerge. Much Ado will be directed by the Illusion Theatre's Producing Artistic Director Michael Robins. It will feature the premiere of Ivy Award winning Allison Moore's adaptation, created specifically for SPCPA. With original music composed and performed by long-time Twin City musician and performer, Roberta Carlson. Much Ado about Nothing will feature live music created in tandem with the composer.
