Bach's Lunch 'n' Listen
Newton-Conover Auditorium is home to the popular lunchtime concert series, Bach's Lunch 'n' Listen. Lunch and concert are from 12-1:30 p.m. Tickets are $15. These performances are known to sell out so book your tickets well in advance. Tickets go on sale beginning September 1st!
Members may purchase tickets through the Newton-Conover Auditorium office. Members donating at the Patron level and above may purchase their tickets beginning August 25th.
January 15 - Dragonfly It's unlike any Bach's Lunch before! With Jennifer Lane on the violin/fiddle, John Hopson on guitar and Allen Berryhill on a bodhran, you'll enjoy a variety of Irish and Scottish music and songs.

September 18 - NewArt Faculty
Enjoy several performances from our NewArt music faculty! NewArt School offers classical music training from ages 3 to adult in a many different instruments from piano, voice and flute to harp, cello and guitar. This performance will feature our NewArt Faculty, some on more than one instrument, playing pieces in a variety of musical stylings.
October 16 - Wilfried Scharf
Flying in from Austria, Germany to perform in a concert at Newton-Conover Auditorium on October 17th with The Kruger Brothers, Wilfried Scharf is internationally known for his revival of a unique European folk instrument - the zither. This Bach's lunch will allow you to get up close and personal with this unique instrument and one of the current world leaders in its revival.
November 20 - Fire Pink Trio
The Fire Pink Trio brings together three women on three different instruments: Jacquelyn Bartlett on the harp, Sheila Browne on the viola and Debra Reuter-Pivetta on the flute. Just as each instrument has its uniquely beautiful voice, each member of Fire Pink Trio brings to the group a multitude of accolades including top prizes in international competitions, concerto performances and critically acclaimed recordings. They perform a variety of music from romantic to contemporary, latin and jazz by a wide range of composers from Saint Saens and Debussy to Bax and Britten to contemporary composers Adrienne Albert, Dan Locklair, Harald Genzmer, and Manuel Moreno-Buendia. Jacquelyn Bartlett and Sheila Browne are both currently members of the artist faculties at UNC School of the Arts and Debra Reuter-Pivetta is an alumni. This concert is presented as part of a 2-day residency made possible by the University of North Carolina School of the Arts Foundation, Inc.
December 18 - Holiday Harp Concert
Grace Wepner-Ludtke returns to our Bach's Lunch 'n' Listen with several other fellow harpists for this special holiday concert. Enjoy some of your favorite carols as they are showcased on the concert pedal harp.
