J U D I L E >> So, What Are You? Judi Le understands terror in a way that few people reading this description ever will. As a four-year-old, she and her family were forced to flee when South Vietnam was overtaken by the Communists who methodically gunned down everyone--including children--related to the now ousted aristocracy (Judi's uncle was the prime minister). Her family's departure was lightning fast. It would be major hyperbole to compare the traumatic experiences of her early life to the difficulty of being tagged as different in a small Texan town but it's the kind of thing Judi would do. In fact, it's what she does do. And she does it in a way that's hilarious. Be forewarned: this is not a show for the squeamish or those who have an aversion to laughing.
A N N E T T E R O M A N >> Hitler's Li'l Abomination directed by David Ford Spanning three cultures and as many generations, this solo show features the Russian Front, Holocaust bedtime stories, and undercover bridge games at the Senior Center. A unique, irreverent, humorous, true story of one legacy of war and ethnic conflict.
