And they're NOT Myths, Legends, and least of all Bedtime Stories...
not that there's anything wrong with that

IT'S JUST NOT WHAT WE DO!

We believe that everyone has a story. Our goal? Give those stories a place to live. Award winning story teller Dave Pokorny hosts all those people who asked, "When can I tell my story?" And we encourage those people who doubted they had a story worth telling.

HERE'S HOW IT WORKS:
Sonoma Valley Portworks provides a stage, a microphone, a theme to inspire and shape the evening, a lively and supportive audience, and Pokorny to host & guide the festivities.
WSS are limited to five minutes. Potential tellers drop their name in the hat, 10 get pulled at random and are heard.

After all the stories are told a random audience-member chooses their favorite of the evening, and that teller wins $50 cash!

That's how we do it, it's what's called a StorySlam!
