Roots and Branches: Losing the Signal/i Move
Roots and Branches: Losing the Signal/i Move
November 6 @730 pm and November 7 @ 3pm
Acclaimed inter-generational theater company Roots&Branches presents two original works in one evening. In Losing the Signal, directed by Eva Burgess and written by Dan Trujillo, elders and young adults struggle to communicate, and not just with their smart phones. See how the first TV, the original victrola phonograph and a fancy new refrigerator made life easier and more complicated. In iMOVE, choreographed by Sasha Soreff, the performers use movement and words to explore our relationship to technology. How do these devices aid and alter our bodies, for better and for worse?
