(Stand-Up Style) Comedy Showcase, at Naked City Brewery, Sunday September 6th
(Stand-Up Style) is a monthly comedy showcase that takes place the first Sunday of every month at Naked City Brewery & Taphouse in Greenwood, Seattle.
The show features international touring Stand-Up comedians, and is hosted Kortney Shane Williams, who has opened for David Alan Grier, Dave Chappelle, and regularly opens for Hannibal Buress. He's appeared on Comedy Time, Fox's Laugh TV, and The 206 on NBC.
(Stand-Up Style) is a professional showcase that's guaranteed to be a great night of comedy, and not one that turns your one night out, into a 3 hour marathon of unfunny; which ends up being more depressing than entertaining. Leaving you thinking, "I should have stayed home and watched Seinfeld reruns."
This month's show will be held Sunday September 6th at 7 PM, with headliner Nathan Brannon.
Nathan is the 2014 Seattle International Comedy Competition Champion, and he was named the funniest man in Portland. He's also appeared on Fox's Laughs TV, and tours colleges nationwide.
Also on this month's showcase is Evan Morrison, who is a great up-incoming comedian in the Seattle comedy scene.
The show starts at 7 PM. Which is a reasonable hour unless you're a hermit that likes to get 12 hours of sleep. It's a convenient start time because it allows you to get home and make sure your kids haven't set your house on fire. It also helps people make it to work on time the next day. So you can enjoy a night out, keep your day job, and not have to resort to a life of crime.
