City Inspired: DISCOURSE
How about a few good ideas to help our city leaders make a better Seattle?
James Keblas from City Inspired will lead the audience through a multi-course presentation spotlighting communities all over the world who are facing their challenges and taking advantage of opportunities at the highest common denominator. With a special emphasis on ideas that are brave, different and creative, he will then break these actions down and ask local guest leaders to respond on Seattle's point of view. Audience participation will be encouraged.
Chef Erin Brindley will be designing a special a la carte dinner menu in response to the playlist of ideas being presented, including improving food, transportation, art, affordability, and public safety. Brindley's specialty is locally sourced food presented in artful and innovative ways to help tell the story of the evening.
With the race of Seattle City Council candidates now whittled down and the conversation getting focused, this is a perfect time to start getting specific about solutions. Join us in a lively night that will inspire Seattle's future civic leaders and make our community better by learning from others.
