Red Priest
The Chamber Music Society of Central Virginia's "Winter Baroque" concert series opens with "Red Priest," a concert featuring the music of Vivaldi and his contemporaries. It features performances by Baroque violinists Fiona Hughes and Krista Feeney, concertmaster of the Orchestra of St. Lukes.
"Winter Baroque" is one of the chamber music events CMSCVA presents annually, this time programmed around the remarkable and evocative music of the Baroque period. The series brings together seven celebrated musicians - international competition winners, favorite performers from Richmond's classical music scene, and world-class soloists - to bring this thrilling music to life in concerts in our modernist venue at the First Unitarian Church, and the Gellman Room of the Main Public Library in downtown Richmond.
