Paul who is under a tremendous amount of stress due to the loss of his girlfriend, stresses at work and some other things that have Paul on edge. The story takes place mostly in Paul's house where he deals with his inner turmoil and a mysterious housemate who is speaking to him from behind a semi closed door. Paul's constant need for perfection is highlighted as he finds ways to cope with his situation. The story slowly builds as more is revealed about Paul and his true self.
