The Battles Of Winter, Keep Breathing and Egyptian Blue
We have a night of glorious alternative rock for you. We don't do these very often, but we don't get bands of this quality too often!
The Battles Of Winter
In their own words: "Once hailing from London, now scattered far and wide we set out to deliver music held together by surging noise and velocity. It has been suggested by some that we are equal parts Interpol, The National, Echo and The Bunnymen and The Doors. Though we find it difficult to know what or who we really sound like, we embrace those comparisons." We'd add Editors to that list of bands! Do not miss them.
Keep Breathing
The Newcastle four-piece, who take influence from alternative rock, indie pop and post punk, have recently returned from a hiatus and can't wait for fans to hear their new music. Fusing the moody and epic nature of Echo and the Bunnymen with sweeping anthemic riffs and dark undertones, Keep Breathing have taken alt-rock, indie and post punk and put it all in a magic blender to create dynamic, cinematic music captures audiences' attention with its intensity at their live shows.
Egyptian Blue
Egyptian Blue are a four piece from Colchester who have been creating their own style of music since starting up last year. Their first EP 'Coma Chain' earned them a review from NME - "Egyptian Blue are promising young upstarts from Colchester." Their live shows have seen them get better and better, honing their skills and making them one of the most exciting young bands we've seen this year!
And with a Goodsoul playlist to pleasure you before, between and after the live music, it's another night you shouldn't miss!
