The Extremely Serious Comedy workshop is an intensive, comprehensive, six-week standup comedy workshop designed and taught by the 5-time Minnesota Comedian of the Year. Scott Hansen.
The workshop professionally tailored to get you on stage and getting laughs as quickly as possible.
Scott has developed a serious 'comedy lesson plan' that gives up to two years of experience in a few short weeks.
Students will benefit from Scott's extensive comedy career and experiences gleaned from top comedians. Scott has an unparalleled insight into behind-the-scenes comedy information.You will learn secrets that George Carlin, Rodney Dangerfield, Louie Anderson and many more comics have shared with Scott.
The workshop is tailored with writing exercises, creative exercises and homework. You'll learn joke writing skills, get personal creative training and develop your own comedic voice. You will learn how to structure a comedy set and then present your original material in a recital before a live audience.
The class also includes private evaluations from Scott, a critique of your performance and a video of the recital
Scott Hansen says,"Any comic can take their free Sunday, charge a fee and tell you how to hold a microphone. But I've developed a 'comedy lesson plan' that will give my students years worth of experience in a few short weeks. I am doing this right, " Scott says, "...and unlike expensive basketball camps where big coaches only show up for a cheesy award ceremony on the last day...I will be there every hour of every session."
