In The Light performs Led Zeppelin's Physical Graffiti
On February 24, 1975 Led Zeppelin released Physical Graffiti a double album that is perhaps one of the finest representations of this iconic band's music. From Jimmy Page's blistering guitar virtuosity, to Robert Plant's wailing vocal improvisations, to the rock-solid rhythm section of John Paul Jones on bass guitar and John Bonham on drums, the album is simply a master class in the art of hard rock. According to Robert Plant, of all the albums Led Zeppelin released, Physical Graffiti represented the band at its most creative and most expressive, and he has commented that it is his favorite Led Zeppelin album. Similarly, guitarist Jimmy Page considers this album to be a "high watermark" for Led Zeppelin.
On Saturday, January 14th, 2012, In The Light - a Delaware-based band formed for the sole purpose of paying homage to this classic album - will perform Physical Graffiti in its entirety on the stage at the Arden Gild Hall.
With lead vocal duties carried by well-known performer Joe Trainor (who performed all of Led Zeppelin II with his band The Joe Trainor Trio at the 2008 Arden Fair) and a compliment of top-shelf local musicians, this is a performance not to miss!
Joe Trainor - lead vocals Scott Lawing - lead guitar Andy Faver - rhythm guitar Christian Salcedo - bass, backing vocals Steve Kuzminski - keyboard, mandolin, harmonica, acoustic guitar Matt Urban - drums
