DAMIAN and THE DISPLAYERS - damian israel shiner used to play with a cardboard guitar in his basement and lipsync to the beatles, elvis and styx, much to the enjoyment (and sometimes ridicule) of his family and neighbors. fast fwd more years than you'd believe, and after the celebrated endurance of his former band SHINERJONES (myspace.com/shinerjones), he's out on his own, playing with friends he's made along the way. he's just getting started... :-)
KAISER CARTELL - The dynamic duo of Courtney Kaiser and Benjamin Cartel, KaiserCartel, formed when the two Brooklyn based musicians joined forces to tour the country in the summer of 2004. Crammed into a three door Saturn named Sadie filled with instruments, thrift store finds, and their furry friends "The Crayons", KaiserCartel has been touring regionally and nationally ever since.
SAND MACHINE create infective melody lines and harmony arrangements reminiscent of the British invasion overlaying bucolic American roots rock. Encompassing social commentary, story-telling, emotional revelation, and a touch of wry, Sand Machine purports to be both the forest and the trees.
