Moksha Art Fair Panel Discussion
THE MOKSHA ART EXPO LECTURE & PANEL DISCUSSION MODERATED BY DR. CONSTANTINO MANUEL TORRES, HIGHLIGHTING THE CONTRIBUTION OF THE LATE ROBERT VENOSA & THE UNVEILING OF THE NEW MOKSHA SYMBOL BY CHRIS DYER AT 7th CIRCUIT STUDIOS
On Thursday, December 1, The Moksha Family Collective and Community Arts & Culture will be hosting the Moksha Art Fair Lecture & Panel Discussion with moderator Dr. Constantino Manuel Torres Ph.D. The panel discussion, moderated by Dr. Torres, will highlight ethnomedicine and its impact on art and culture. Dr. Torres is an archeologist, ethnobotanist, and F.I.U. Pre-Columbian Art Professor, who has written extensively on South American visionary plants. The panel discussion will also feature Chris Dyer, Mark Henson, Alex Sastoque and a selection of local artists including Donna Torres and others who will be sharing insights into their own creative techniques and inspirations.
As part of the presentation, there will be a special memorial tribute to the late Robert Venosa. "In His On Words" is a retrospective video featuring the late Robert Venosa. This intimate biography shares a unique perspective of Venosa's artist vision and his impact on the art world. Within the memorial tribute, Jonathan Singer's animated video inspired by Robert Venosa will be showcased.
In addition, Chris Dyer will be debuting the 2011 Moksha Symbol and unveiling the new painting with a special video presentation.
7th Circuit Studios is located at 228 N.E. 59th Street in Miami 33137. The Lecture & Panel Discussion will commence at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 1. The Lecture & Panel Discussion is for 18+.
