BLUES @ WINDSOR Music & Dinner Series with THE FROST KINGS in Concert
Attention all blues music lovers! SunRex Entertainment Group in association with the Windsor Diner management present the new & unique monthly blues music concert and dinner event that invites you enjoy life with an exciting concert experience at the Blues @ Windsor music series at the Windsor Diner, located at 1030 Raritan Rd in Clark, NJ. Acclaimed blues music artists bring to you a listening experience that promises to captivate on the second Thursday of each month at this elegant venue. The concert experience includes a special choice of barbeque style entree, dessert and a beverage. An inaugural event complimentary glass of wine is also included. The inaugural concert on Thursday, November 10, 2011 at 7pm features the Blues, Swing and R&B sounds of The Frost Kings music ensemble.
The Frost Kings is a dynamic R&B, swing and blues band originating from the North Jersey area. Familiar to music fans in Northern and Central Jersey, and Southern New York State, the Frost Kings have performed at many festivals and venues over the last few years. Some of their recent performances include: J&R Cigars, Kristine's Swing Dances, the Chester Jazz & Blues Festival, the Morris and Somerset County 4H Fairs, Sussex County Chamber Champion of the Grill BBQ, Attilio's Tavern, and the Westfield and North Branch Libraries.
The band has been together for more than 10 years and they have blended their diverse musical styles and backgrounds to form one tight-knit music ensemble. Equally at home playing swinging shuffles, slow blues or full-tilt boogies, their repertoire ranges from the West Coast swing stylings of Louis Jordan and T-Bone Walker, to the classic blues of Luther Johnson, B.B. King, Eddie "Clean Head" Vinson and Muddy Waters, to the R&B of Wilson Pickett and Herbie Hancock. They are thrilled to be part of the inaugural Blues @ Windsor concert event and look forward to make it a regular stop. If you're not already a swing-blues fan, you will be after hearing the Icy-Cold tones of the Frost Kings!
Blues @ Windsor concert and dinner tickets are priced at $29.95 per person. Showtime is from 7pm to 9pm. Seating and dinner service starts at 6pm and continues during the program. The staff at the Windsor Diner welcomes you to this new and special monthly music concert and dinner event experience. The venue offers the perfect ambience for a relaxing monthly evening of good food and drink, good friends and listening pleasure and is conveniently located off of GSP Parkway Exit # 135.
