SOLD OUT: Culture Through Cuisine: Turkey
Do you like to learn about other cultures through food? Do you like to meet other like-minded people over a fantastic meal?
The World Affairs Council is pleased to announce a special "Culture through Cuisine" evening focusing on Turkey. Situated at the crossroads between Asia and Europe, Turkish cuisine is a culinary fusion that resounds of its varied influences, which range from Chinese and Mongolian to Persian and Greek. Please join us for the wonderful cooking of Chef Ugur Oskay at Bistro Turkuaz, located in Seattle. The night will include a brief introduction to Turkey, and a cooking demonstration of traditional Turkish cuisine followed by a delicious meal, during which guests will be able to ask questions about Turkey and its culture.
Registration includes dinner. Alcohol will be available for purchase.
