Rebecca Spencer Sings The Greats With Phillip Fortenberry On Piano
Rebecca Spencer's theatrical credits are quite extensive. Most recently, two years as Madame Giry in Phantom Of The Opera at Venetian Hotel, Las Vegas. Previous roles include Emma Carew in the original Broadway cast of Jekyll and Hyde, Ragtime in Toronto, tours in Candide, and as Dolly in Hello Dolly. Her solo shows and concerts with local symphony orchestras have taken Rebecca from Coast To Coast. She holds a Bachelor of Music Degree from Ithaca College and has two award-winning CD's: "Wide Awake and Dreaming" and "Fair Warning". Rebecca's accompanist for this show is Phillip Fortenberry who studied at Julliard and holds a Masters in Music Degree in classical piano from New Jersey City University. On Broadway, Phillip was the pianist for Forbidden Broadway, Cats, Jesus Christ Superstar, Saturday Night Fever, Ragtime, Seussical The Musical, and The Lion King.
