About Time
Adam Falik's metaphysical drama, About Time, spins boy-climbs-through-girl's-window into a string theory infused mind-twist. When Oliver follows Kate home from school, he finds himself ensnared in the infinite improbabilities of Kate's family. Her brother keeps slipping in and out of time while her uncle works on his Unifying Savior Principle. The family physician freely distributes psychopharmacology as the floodwaters of hormones, rampant capitalism, and academic intrigue threaten to drown them all. About Time is part of UNO's New Play Celebration, running from November 5th November 13th. About Time is also University of New Orleans' official entry to the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts Theatre Festival. The production features: Brittany Garlepied (Kate), James Vitale (Oliver), Michael Krikorian (Aaron), PJ McKinnie (Dr. Benjamin Bernard), and Paxton McCaghren (Uncle) This production team includes: Revati Alice Locke (Set Designer), Lindy Bruns (Costume Designer), Diane Baas (Lighting Designer) and Justin Guidroz (Sound Designer).
