Chely Wright Movie Screening: Wish Me Away with Out Boulder!

Out Boulder is proud to partner with the Denver Film Society, One Colorado, and the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force to bring you Wish Me Away, the award winning documentary of country music superstar, Chely Wright.

When she was at the top of her game as a country singer-songwriter, Chely Wright risked alienating thousands of her adoring fans and even some of her family members by coming out as a lesbian.

The decision came after nearly 20 years of tortured introspection and daily prayers to God to "make it go away." Wish Me Away is a wrenching chronicle of Wright's personal countdown to the day in 2010 when she resolved to go public.

The screening is expected to sell out quickly and we have secured 25 VIP tickets for Out Boulder friends.

These tickets cost $20.00 and grant you access to the Film, the Q&A with Chely following the film AND also serve as your tickets to the reception following. The reception will be at one of Denver's hotspots, The Lobby Bar and Grill.

The $20.00 fee is our cost, we are glad to offer these tickets to you at cost, however we welcome your additional contribution to support Out Boulder as we promote equality, respect and well being for LGBTQ people in Boulder County and our Heterosexual Allies. Donations will be accepted at time of ticket pick up at Out Boulder table before screening. Allow plenty of time to arrive.
