Vixens Training Camp - August 29th, 2015
The Rideau Valley Vixens are holding an intensive all-day roller derby training camp on Saturday, August 29th. This is an all day event going from 10am - 5pm held at Jean-Marc Lalonde Arena - 1523 Du Parc Ave. in Rockland, ON.
The Vixens Training Camp is designed for skaters that already know how to skate / play roller derby and who are able to pass the WFTDA minimum skating skills standards. The drills will be suitable for all-levels, from novice to advanced.
Requirements:
18+ male or female with current roller derby insurance
All participants are required to show proof of insurance via a RSC, CRDi, WFTDA or USARS.
Tickets:
$75 for all-day skater pass
Includes
- Full-day of training and a black and white scrimmage
- Pot Luck Lunch (Gluten-Free, Vegan, and Veg options available)
- Admission to that evening's game: Vixens vs. TBD
Tickets are limited!
**These passes are non-refundable, but registration is transferable.
This is a fundraiser to help the Vixens make their way to Dallas for their first WFTDA D1 playoff tournament.
