"A Christmas Carol" with Charles Dickens
Enjoy a holiday classic as read by the author, as the Independent Shakespeare Co. recreates (with a little artistic license) a public reading of "A Christmas Carol" given by Charles Dickens himself. Based on the author's own adaption of his famous story of Christmas redemption, the performance is full of the theatricality and wry humor Dickens was famous for. David Melville portrays Dickens; Mary Guilliams provides musical and dramatic accompaniment. Appropriate for ages 10 & Up.
