Three Students. Ten Months. One Mission Confronted every day with reports of seemingly unsolvable environmental problems, the students from A Year on Earth are motivated to help identify solutions, search out signs of hope and engage in actionall in some of the worlds wildest places. Its a story of the transformational power of nature, taking the pulse of the planet, and reporting back to their generation on the future of the global environment. Arsen, Tyler, and Jamie are high school students nominated to participate in this exciting program by their teachers. They were chosen by a panel of Earthwatch educators and staff after an extensive interview process. They will travel the world, participating in Earthwatch research projects. Follow along their trip by reading Jamie's journal, viewing Arsen's photographs, and watching Tyler's short films. This documentary film of their travels will highlight important evironmental issues including: climate change, habitat destruction, species extinction, and loss of cultural heritage.
