R&J Jam
This August, we delve into the story of star-crossed lovers, and the stories that Shakespeare drew upon to write theirs. Come get titillated by smutty Italian potboliers, and investigate the occult nature of the numbers thirteen and fourteen. Could Romeo and Juliet be a mystical equation? In any case, the R&J Jam is a celebration of hot love at the peak of a hot, hot summer. And as always, we will follow it up with our signature Storytelling Open-Mic.
Stairwell Theater's Shakespeare Jams are an investigation into and celebration of storytelling, using one of Shakespeare's plays as our focus. We follow a short presentation with a storytelling open-mic, when anyone can tell a story, sing a song, or even practice standup in an intimate and supportive setting.
