Ed Holmes - SubHuman: True Tales from Beneath the Sea
In SUBHUMAN, Ed tells true tales of his days as a mechanic aboard a diesel submarine in the Pacific ocean. From a fog-hornd hallucination heard as a child on the shores of Lake Erie to alarm bells in the depths of the blue Pacific, Ed seeks the answer to persistant questionHow did I get here?

Caution: contains salty language and slapstick philosophizing.

After his seven year hitch in the Navy Ed followed the GI bill thru laney Jr College, Cal State Hayward and Mills College (!) and has performed with the Berkeley Mime Troupe (yes, that kind of mime), Fratelli Bologna, Antenna Theater, Sf Opera, Oakland Symphony and for the past 21 years as a performer and director with the San Francisco Mime Troupe (no, not that kind of mime;sfmt.org), and has written and directed with the German theater company Theater RAB (random acts of beauty) which will be performing at Rhythmix Cultural Works Oct 12-13, 2007.
