Late Spring Stargazing over Pepperwood
Check out the planets Mars and Saturn as they dominate this moonless night sky of late spring. Guided by expert stargazers Bing Quock and Ronn Dammann of the California Academy of Sciences and using the telescopes at the Hume Observatory, observe globular star clusters, colliding galaxies, and the glowing remnant of an exhausted sun. This evening session begins at sunset with an introductory presentation at the Dwight Center, and then continues at the Hume Observatory. Bring water and wear layered apparel and sturdy hiking shoes.
