Oregon Mandolin Orchestra Holiday Concert / Winter 2015
SOLD OUT. Celebrating its seventh season, the Oregon Mandolin Orchestra gives eclectic and unique performances that highlight the historically-rich and dynamic sounds of the mandolin family and revive the beauty and popular impact of this turn-of-the-century art form. The Holiday program will include Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker Suite, Mendelssohn's Christmas Suite and swinging holiday favorites. The concert will feature special guest, Jordan Ramsey, known for his talents in crosspicking and as a 2011-14 finalist in the National Mandolin Championship. Music Director/Conductor Brian Oberlin and select members of the orchestra will also perform special selections as a chamber group.
