Crossing Arizona - FilmBar Hispanic/Latin Heritage Month Tribute

This Saturday, October 8th, award-winning documentary, Crossing Arizona, examines the border crossing crisis in Arizona through the eyes of those directly affected by it. The influx of migrants crossing through our state, and the attendant rising death toll, have elicited complicated feelings about human rights, culture, class, labor and national security.
Filmmakers Dan DeVivo and Valeria Fernandez will be on site for a meet and greet with audience members both before and after the film. FilmBar will be donating a percentage of event and ticket proceeds for the duo's new documentary, Two Americans. A post-screening party will be held in the FilmBar lounge with various DJ's.
