D3R Bluegrass Band

D3R is a Bluegrass band that mixes Bluegrass standards along with New grass music. The group gets it's name from the first initial of each name Denise, David, Daryl, Roger.

Roger Banister: vocals/ mandolin and fiddle
Denise Kocur: vocals/ bass
David Hedrick: vocals/banjo
Daryl Jones: vocals /acoustic guitar

All the members of D3R have played Bluegrass music for many years, however this combination of musicians has been collaborating since 2010. The sound of the band is up tempo and hard driving with a quirky sense of humor in their show.

The D3R group features three and four part harmony and keeps the audience involved the music. The band has performed at several local venues as well as concerts in the Columbus IN area.

Rick Wilson was born in Edinburgh and came from a musical family, including his father- Bluegrass legend Bryant Wilson

Rick has performed with several touring Bluegrass bands performing at the Bean Blossom Bluegrass Festival as well as the Grand Ole Opry. Rick solo performance will include everything from Bluegrass, Gospel to Folk Rock.
