"THE PHOTO SHOW II" HOSTED BY BARRY & BARBARA SHAFFER
THE PHOTO SHOW II will highlight the magical landscape of Africa - the great savannas and rolling grasslands, the open vistas of the Kalahari desert, the awe inspiring sunrises and sunsets, the spectacular bird-watching and the close-range viewing of the wild animal kingdom. Capetown, Johannesburg, township life and Victoria Falls will also be viewed.
Join us for an afternoon of beautiful photography. Following the 45 - minute presentation, guests are invited to stay and enjoy wine, hors d'oeuvres and good conversation.

Through its nationally replicated arts based work readiness training for youth, accredited professional teacher training, and ground breaking reintegration programs for returning veterans, SCLA supports high quality arts learning, academic enrichment and job training in the arts.
Iliso Care Society South Africa www.iliso.org. The ICS is situated in Site C in the township of Khayelitsha outside of Capetown, South Africa. It currently operates a soup kitchen, an orphanage, clean-up campaigns, and workshops focusing on skills training, HIV/AIDS and domestic violence.
Southern Cross Educational Foundation Botswana www.southerncrossprimary.org. The SCEF is privately funded and aims to prepare disadvantaged children living in remote and rural areas for pre-school and primary school. Due to a number of complex factors, many of these children roam the streets, begging for food thereby continuing the vicious cycle of poverty and lack of education..
