SOUTH BRIDGE, UPROOTED THEATRE COMPANY
UPROOTED Theatre presents the World Premier of SOUTH BRIDGE by Reginald Edmund. In SOUTH BRIDGE, Christopher C. Davis, also known as "Stranger," gets tangled in an affair with a widow. When she turns up dead, all evidence points to him. Stranger has to discover the truth before a rope is tied around his neck. Set in Ohio in 1881, this compelling drama is full of twists and surprises. SOUTH BRIDGE is the winner of the 2010 Southern Playwrights' Competition, and a runner up for the 2009 Lorraine Hansberry Award and 2009 Rosa Parks National Playwriting Award.
