The Vancouver Cantata Singers
Imagine hearing the music of Schubert and Mendelssohn performed in a magnificent new space with one of the world's largest Blue Whale skeletons floating above your head
For these concerts (both Friday & Saturday evenings), we celebrate the one year anniversary of the Beaty Biodiversity Museum at UBC. Its long, lower atrium offers us the chance to perform in an acoustically beautiful architectural marvel, surrounded by the museum's Natural History collections.
The Beaty Biodiversity Museum is Vancouver's only natural history museum, dedicated to creating a shared sense of community and wonder.
We're also thrilled to have the use of an extremely important, museum quality fortepiano, fully restored to its original 1846 playing condition. More information on this stunning instrument is available via our website.
If any tickets remain, $10 student rush seats will be sold 4 minutes before the performance starts.
