Welcome to Tribute Tuesday! A night at The Lizard Lounge that celebrates the music of a classic album performed by some of the Boston music scene's best musicians. Tonight it's the classic 1974 album by Boston's bad boys Aerosmith - Get Your Wings,. Featuring the amazing talents of vocalist Laurie Sargent (just off of a tour with Concrete Blonde's Johanette Napolitano), guitarist Stuart Kimball (just off a tour with - yep, that guy Bob Dylan), drummer Billy Beard (Session Americana, Dennis Brennan), guitarist Ian Kennedy (Reverse) and bassist Marty Ballou (Peter Wolf among many).
In addition to the live interpretation of that album look for a few choice covers and DJ Brother Cleve spinning music from that era. Time to get your 70's hard rocking' groove on!
