Suffering, Inc.
Pony World Theatre proves how well a dead Russian from the 19th century understood 21st century office life. Suffering, Inc. is an original play assembled entirely from the scripts of Anton Chekhov but set in a contemporary corporate office. With this new play, Pony World Theatre places Chekhov's heartbreak, loneliness, greed and quiet torment where they truly belong-a cubicle. Told with the help of Chekhov's dark humor and Pony World's whimsy, Suffering, Inc. encapsulates this modern life- sometimes in quite unexpected ways.
October 27th- November 19th at Seattle's Washington Hall, 153 14th Ave.
Starring Carrie Cates, Ricky Coates, Martin Dinn, David Gassner, Megan Jackson, Adria LaMorticella, and Valerie Mannucci. Directed by Brendan Healy with Gabrielle Schutz.
Suffering, Inc. has been created through collaboration with the ensemble and is Pony World Theatre's third production. Guided by the cardinal directions of Imagination, Possibility, Celebration, and Humanity, Pony World Theatre seeks to create original and uncompromising performances.
Pony World is an associated program of Shunpike.

Q&A
Question: |
Are there tickets left for closing night- I am trying to but one and it says you are done selling for today- but what about tomorrow? |
Answer: |
Suffering, Inc. is sold out for the whole of closing weekend. We do however start a wait list when the box office opens every night (7:30, if not earlier). Getting there early to be on the wait list is not a guarantee you'll be able to see the show, however we have seated several people on the wait list for each of the last 3 sold out performances. |
