Earth Action Hoedown
Grab your spurs and get ready to cut a rug to the swinging Honky-Tonk sounds of The Mighty Silverbacks! Earth Action inc. (formerly "e" inc.) is holding a benefit concert/dance party to support their mission of bringing science literacy and community action to Boston's children and teens. The Midway Cafe, a funky local joint in Jamaica Plain, is generously hosting them on October 16th, 2011. The doors open at 8:00 pm and the band will begin at 9:00. There is a $10 cover and all proceeds benefit Earth Action's effort to increase science literacy and inspire local students to make a difference in their community.
