A Day of Silents with the Hollywood Heritage Silent Society
Join the Silent Society of Hollywood Heritage for a daylong series of screenings on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at the Hollywood Heritage Museum, 2100 N. Highland Avenue.
The films will feature some of the most popular LEADING LADIES of the silent era in rarely screened performances. All films will be presented from good old-fashioned 16mm prints.
Screenings begin at 2:30 pm. There will be a dinner break. The motion pictures and their schedules are: 2:30 pm - Sex (1920) starring Louise Glaum, Irving Cummings and Peggy Pearce; Director: Fred Niblo. 3:30 pm - Are Parents People? (1925) starring Betty Bronson, Florence Vidor and Adolphe Menjou; Director: Malcolm St. Clair. Dinner break. 7:30 pm - Lilac Time (1928) starring Colleen Moore, Gary Cooper and Burr McIntosh; Director: George Fitzmaurice.
All films featuring live musical accompaniment by Michael Mortilla in a MORTILLATHON!
