Integration in yoga involves meditation, wisdom, action & devotion. This very practical seminar helps students to understand yoga teachings for themselves through gaining an understanding of these essential elements of yoga through the Bhagavad-gita, yoga's most essential text. Rather than go though the Gita chronologically, we will focus on raja, jnana, karma and bhakti yogas in a logical progression, drawing from verses throughout the text. This course is ideal for yoga teachers as well as for those who want to deepen their understanding of yoga and the Bhagavad-gita. Students will gain a clear idea of how classical yoga thought and practices can be applied in a modern, urban environment in order to transform ones yoga practice.
