Carnival of Parahorror - Saturday, August 22, 2015
Parahorror is a family friendly celebration of all things creepy, odd, spooky and unusual. The event includes activities such as celebrity greet and meets, film and TV screenings, art displays and unique exhibits, amusements and games, contests for cash and prizes such as the official Parahorror Costume Contest, the official Parahorror Pie Eating Contest, and What Would Jason Do? (new for 2015), face painting and kid friendly tattoos, and lectures, panels, and workshops on a wide variety of related subjects.
You'll also get exclusive access to great local horror and paranormal authors, film makers, ghost hunters, metaphysical practitioners, psychics, and vendors, food trucks in the Buffalo Central Terminal parking lot (new for 2015), refreshments and snacks for sale inside, and so much more! Some specific Parahorror 2015 features include:
* Celebrities from such noteworthy horror franchises as George Romero's "Night of the Living Dead" and Lloyd Kaufman's "Toxic Avenger," among others!
* Costumed horror icons including Freddy Kruger (Nightmare on Elm Street), Jason Vorhees (Friday the 13th), Michael Myers (Halloween), and others, will be in attendance August 21-23, as well as the official Parahorror mascot himself "Chester the Creep!"
