Screaming Queens: A Left Coast Theatre Co. Production
Lock the doors, but keep the closets open. Tickets are on sale for Left Coast Theatre Co.'s latest anthology of LGBT plays, and for the first time ever the theme is HORROR. Blood! Ghosts! Heels! Don't miss the thrills and chills of Screaming Queens!
LCTC is proud to present: "Presence" - by Thomas J. Misuroca, directed by Scott Boswell The U-Haul is barely unpacked when Judy and Brenda face new terrors in the house they now share. "The Fierce"- by Terry Maloney Haley, directed by Laura Smith Some drag queens will cut you for eyeliner. Imagine what one would do for a pair of magic heels.
"Meet Cute" - by Evan Boughfman, directed by Don Hardwick Glenn would love a rom-com-style first date, but his own terror could make it more like a slasher flick.
"The Screens" - by Erik Champney, directed by Richard S. Sargent As his head swims with madness and memory, Allen sturggles to screen out the thoughts that imprison him.
"Gaybola" - by James A. Martin, directed by Chris Maltby Hot twinks beware! Targeting the young, gay and fabulous, Gaybola delivers a fate worse than death.
"Dawn of the DeadZone" - by Rita Long, directed by Kris Neely Who will save us when the virus-tainted, brain-eating technology takes over the earth?
Screaming Queens will run Thursdays through Saturdays at the Phoenix Theater, 414 Mason Street, San Francisco, CA, from October 9 to October 31, 2015.
