The Historical Society of Rockland County Invites You to a
Historic Sloatsburg Walk through History

SPACE IS LIMITED; RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED. The meeting location will be provided with your confirmed reservation.
Join Geoff Welch, curator of Harmony Hall, the 1848 mansion of Jacob Sloat, for this walking tour of the historic and scenic village of Sloatsburg. We will visit the Sloat family section of the Sloatsburg Cemetery and view other homes once owned by these early settlers. We will also explore Mill Street, the 1841 Erie Railroad track bed, and the banks of the Ramapo River, where remains of the village's industrial heritage are still visible.
This Walk through History is a registered Hudson River Valley Ramble event.
A waiting list will be compiled, and available spaces will be filled on a first come, first served basis.
