Private Fundraiser Tasting - 1990s French Wine Tasting: Saint-Emilion & Beyond

In this unique tasting, we'll explore French wines from the 1990s. Our focus will be on Saint-Emilion, one of Christopher's all-time favorite wine regions. Our selection from Saint-Emilion includes (and may be expanded a bit):

We'll also have plenty of other French wine to try from that decade for comparison, including:

This is a small tasting with only 15 people, so you'll get a taste of each of these wines, and will then be able to go back and re-taste your favorites, while supplies last. We'll have a selection of cheeses and other light appetizers to accompany the wine.

Note that, being of relatively advanced age, these wines may not all be in their prime, of course, but some will be, and most will be interesting, anyway. Hopefully some will be fantastic! I expect most of them to have more or less held up, but if too many are over the hill, I'll have some backups from more recent vintages. So there will be no shortage of nice wine!

The tasting is $75 per person, and is being held at The Barrel Thief after hours on a Sunday, so we'll have the run of the place. This is a private event to help raise money for some projects at The Barrel Thief, but please feel free to share the invitation with friends. Please purchase tickets early to avoid disappointment!
