CBS Umptieth Annual Picnic, Vers 5.0
Due to construction at the Old Same Place, this year's picnic is at a smaller forest preserve grove in DesPlaines, Lions Woods on 210 S River Rd. This grove has a small parking lot, with no overflow parking available. But there are lots of public transportation options.
Also this year, we will have only three competitions: Salsa (12-2p), Chili and All Meats (both 2-4p). Attendees are encouraged to bring side dishes and desserts to share. Rib and Meat cookers are advised to arrive early. Winners will be announced at 6. Picnic ends at dusk, 7:06p.
CBS will supply beer cups, plates and bowls, plastiware and beer.
Attendees should bring water, chairs, tables, popups, refreshments for children, ETC.
Members' admission is FREE, children are free, too.
Only 1 ticket per Individual Member; 2 tickets for Couple Members.
After 10 days, remaining tickets will be available for non-members at $20 ea, limit 2.
