Rocky For Equality presents Richard O'Brien's Rocky Horror Show Live!
Rocky for Equality was founded in July 2011 for the purpose of bringing the Bangor community together to discuss and help to facilitate social change... BY ENJOYING THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW LIVE!
We wanted to support local businesses and charities creatively while also giving back to the community via a theater production. For our 2011 first annual showing we decided to focus on the Maine Same-Sex Marriage & LGBT Equality movements, due to the nature of the show itself and its political struggle in Maine.
All proceeds will be donated to Equality Maine! "Don't dream it, be it!"
Costumes are STRONGLY encouraged for your enjoyment as well as ours! Its the perfect excuse to wear your lingerie in public! And there will be a costume contest, so get excited!
PLEASE NOTE: This show is for mature audiences only! We suggest ages 16+ and/or parental guidance. The show contains slight nudity as well as mature subject matter and colorful audience call-backs

Tickets are $15 general admission and may be purchased online up until 2 hours before show time. After that, make sure you stop by The Next Generation Theatre, and get your tickets at the door! (Also, if you're a student you may purchase your tickets at the door for $12 with a student ID!)
