Judas Hands
Goldie Street arrives in a small town after he and his younger brother have murder their father. Goldie looks to show his hands, his carpentry skills to the owner of a wood shop, but he's distracted when he sees and falls in love with a washerwoman Serra. After they're married, Goldie befriends an angry cripple named Runny Rodger and the educated dairy plant manager Theodore Bell. Each character struggles with a character flaw that betrays their happiness. Goldie has his hands. Runny has his past. Serra has her hope. And Theo has his success. This tragic play examines the war between the truth-knowing mind and the lie-pumping heart.
