Round One

Not Quite Opera Productions launches Round One, an evening of new songs by Bay Area composers of musical theater at the Alcove Theater. NQO is one of the few places in the nation that exclusively develops and produces totally original musical theater. Directed by Anne Nygren Doherty, this uplifting revue features top notch vocal performances, soaring melodies, witty lyrics and penetrating insights. Seven musicals in the works are represented by 19 songs by four stand out Bay Area composers - Peter Alexander, Dennis Campagna, Peter Tucker and Scott de Turk. Performers are Peter Alexander, Katherine Goldman, Cliff McCormick and Melissa O'Keefe.

The Alcove Theater is a welcoming 49 seat space with a generous semi-circular stage. Your ticket comes with free concessions and supports the development of new musical theater by local artists.
