Singer Songwriter Michele Brourman In Let's Order In
One of Ms. Brourman's hit songs, My Favorite Year has become a cabaret standard, recorded by Michael Feinstein, Margaret Whiting, Cleo Laine and Amanda McBroom, and others have been recorded by Heather Mac Rae, Rita Coolidge, Sheena Easton, and Donny Osmond. Some are featured in TV series and numerous films including ones She and Amanda McBroom wrote for 16 animated features for Universal Studios, including the Land Before Time series. Michele created the score for the musical Dangerous Beauty, which premiered at the Pasadena Playhouse in 2011. With lyricist Sheilah Rae, she created the score for the off-Broadway musical "I Married Wyatt Earp". She composed the dance and incidental music for the original Broadway production of Working. Her musical director credits include Dixie Carter, Heather Mac Rae, Bernadette Peters, Mariette Hartley, George Ball and Amanda McBroom.
