INTENDED AUDIENCE: This mandatory training is specifically for those responsible for developing person-centered treatment plans and those who oversee plan development in Residential Treatment (Level II and Level III) facilities.
SCOPE: Review of person-centered planning process; updating/revising and reviewing plans; adding services to existing plans; documentation of clinical services, progress toward goals, therapeutic leave and discharge planning; interventions and strategies for goals; timelines; I/DD resources for dually diagnosed children; and crisis and safety planning.
PURPOSE: To prepare providers to successfully submit PCPs that are complete, thorough and of good quality. The CenterPoint Utilization Management department will no longer be able to make repeated requests for additional documentation/information or changes to PCPs in order to process authorization requests. Authorization requests that are not supported by all required documentation including a complete and thorough PCP may be administratively denied.
Facilitators: Representatives from CenterPoint's Network Development and Utilization Management Departments.
