ABINGDON THEATRE COMPANY's LOST ON THE NATCHEZ TRACE By JAN BUTTRAM Set 444 miles of thigh-deep swampland, forest, and far from home LOST ON THE NATCHEZ TRACE brings us the story of Malcolm Jeters, a slave auctioneer, who falls off his mule. Sickly, injured, and without food or water, his only hope arrives when Tom, a mysterious runaway slave, appears. A desperate negotiation ensues as Malcolm and Tom realize they are each other's only chance for survival. LOST ON THE NATCHEZ TRACE is written by Abingdon Theatre Company's Artistic Director Jan Buttram, writer of PHANTOM KILLER, and directed by Kate Bushmann at the Dorothy Strelsin Theatre.
